Full Swing Spring

African trade bead bracelet
I love the combination of the festive stripes and the matte, hand finished gold links of this bracelet. It just feels happy, textural, and fresh. Much like Spring, which is in full swing. If the saying holds true, that “April showers bring May flowers,” then we have quite a lot of blossoms in our future. I love how this piece integrates into my stack of bangles, adding a pop of color and texture.
Garland earring
The Garland Earring also feels incredibly fresh and lacy, which is perfect for the season. While this pair is long and dramatic, we are also making a more diminutive version for those who prefer a more subtle earring. I’m planning to wear these well into the summer.

Crinkle chiffon camisole
This double layer camisole is a bit of a revelation. The way that the silk crinkle chiffon fabric subtly stretches and feels like a second skin in the best possible way. We have it available to order in solids, my favorite being the new softest blush color, Rose Gold. We also have limited quantities available in the Liberty print fabrics. Liberty is no longer manufacturing the crinkle chiffon, so these are truly special.

Liberty Print Asteria
These crepe-de-chine Liberty print dressing gowns are some of our most popular pieces, and have become client’s favorites. It’s difficult to choose just one, so some have opted to choose one for each season. The Rose Xanthe print (shown here) is perfect for Spring. The silk feels incredible on the skin, and this piece travels like a dream. I don’t leave home without one!

This month calls for lots of travel for my family. Spring is my favorite time to be in New York, and luckily I will be there twice this month. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is heaven this time of year. The cherry blossoms and Magnolia blossoms alone are worth the visit.
I’m not one for eating in airports or on airplanes, so that means bringing along a batch of trail mix. I’ve long been making this for my husband Peter, as he is a frequent flier, and not one for airplane food either. I buy organic, sprouted and dehydrated nuts, and combine them with whatever I’ve got handy in the dried fruit department. The family favorite seems to be this combination:
unnamed-30
All raw, sprouted, dehydrated, + organic: Walnuts, almonds, pecans, cashews, pistachios+ pumpkin seeds, unsweetened organic coconut flakes, organic dried cherries, organic golden berries, organic raisins,  Lily's stevia sweetened dark chocolate chips (I hear complaints if I leave them out!), and a pinch of pink salt.  Store in an air-tight container.

Enjoy!
