Bracelets have always felt very personal to me. They can signify a number of things, and oftentimes are emblematic of a gift to oneself. A bracelet can be a simple, singular bangle or chain worn alone as an elegant piece, or perform a role in a grouping from your collection. Either scenario is a study in form and materiality. One of my favorite sounds is the one made by my stack of bracelets underwater when I’m swimming. They sound like church bells in the distance. The way a bracelet moves, the sounds they can make…all of these are considerations I think about when I’m designing a piece. As with our entire collection, each bracelet is made by hand in our Los Angeles atelier.
