The mid-length Selene silk velvet kimono dressing gown is a refined take on a classic robe shape. In a rich black burnout silk velvet, the drape and feel of this robe are especially luxurious. The sleeve has a gentle slope, and reaches the fingertips. The length hits the knee, and it has a belt and belt loops, and features black 100% silk charmeuse piping details throughout. It is the kind of piece that you will want to wear over and over again, both for the flattering appearance and the luxurious feel of the fabric.

Selene was regarded as the personification of the moon in Greek mythology, and is known for driving her moon chariot across the heavens, drawn by her two snow-white horses. She is commonly depicted with a crescent moon, and was described as as very beautiful, with long wings and a golden diadem.

Each piece in the LFrank Wardrobe collection is made exclusively in Los Angeles in small production batches. Please allow 2-3 weeks for special orders, or for items ordered that are currently out of stock.
