The Mariana shell in 100% silk charmeuse is my version of a chic t-shirt, perfect for any season, and the most casual of all the silk iterations of this shell. It is a forgiving and comfortable silhouette that functions well for a variety of occasions, whether worn with a skirt or a pair of trousers. It is the perfect feminine foil to a tailored suit. The sleeveless bateau neckline and bias cut construction are flattering on all, and make this piece a versatile addition to any wardrobe. The back and front are essentially the same, so you can reverse it to have two looks in one, with the color or print blocked version.
This shell is perfect for travel, and in the 100% silk charmeuse has a beautiful and elegant drape to it. It folds into nearly nothing, and the wrinkles fall out after just a short time on a hanger. It is perfect for almost any destination. We make the Mariana shell in three different types of 100% silk; Liberty of London crepe de chine, satin, and twill. There is also a version with sleeves, the Serafina blouse, in both silk and cotton.
Each piece in the LFrank Wardrobe collection is made exclusively in our Los Angeles atelier in small production batches. Please allow 2-3 weeks for special orders, or for items ordered that are currently out of stock. We can make this shell for you in custom colors, or in a different Liberty of London print, we well as in any size: 0,I,II,III,IV,or V.
