About Nubuck:
Nubuck leather is a highly refined and sought-after material, celebrated for its soft, velvety feel and distinctive matte finish. Its signature “writing effect” creates elegant variations in light and shadow when touched. Nubuck is crafted by gently buffing the outer grain of the hide, resulting in a warm, natural look that feels like velvet but retains the resilience of genuine leather.
Often confused with suede, nubuck is actually more robust and durable because it is made from the outer, more valuable part of the hide, whereas suede comes from the inner side. This gives nubuck superior strength while maintaining a delicate appearance.
